What We Believe

The Dallas Central community strives to model ourselves after the first community of followers of Christ found in the second chapter of Acts. We follow their model by doing the five following activities found in Acts chapter two…

1.) We Learn together. We delve deeply into God’s Word to learn more about our Savior. We discuss God’s Word on Sunday mornings and the first Saturday evening of every month.

2.) We Fellowship together.
We hang out together regularily as friends. We grieve together and celebrate with one another. We encourage one another as brothers and sisters in Christ.

3.) We Pray together. We lift up our praises and requests in community worship. We help each other develop ways of growing closer to our Creator.

4.) We observe Communion together. We celebrate the Biblical sacraments and observe the Christian calendar to concretely demonstrate our love for God in real tangible actions.

5.) We reach the world together. We actively share the Good News of Christ to those around us.

We envision the Church as a hospital rather than a country club. We strive to be a place, a city of refuge so to speak, where people can come as they are and do not have to fear being judged. We welcome anyone to our community regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, political affiliation, musical tastes, fashion sense, socio-economic level etc and etc.

We wish to be a safe place for those who want to learn more about God and His purpose for us.
